Label.M product review if you love hair you will love these..!!

So last Saturday was My Nephews Christening, and decided I'd treat myself to getting the wig done :-) one of my fav Salons is Toni & Guy (on Claredon st.) Now I'm not just saying this because I'm a past employee, but they really are great at what they do, would recommend them to anyone (especially for haircuts and styling)
See below a pic of my hair done by the amazing gorgeous Leanne (thanks sooo much!)

On my visit to Toni and Guy I picked up two of there label.m products:
Resurrection dust (volume lovers will love this!)
Radiance oil (Moroccan argan oil to condition my over styled mane)

The resurrection dust comes in a small pot, This might sound weird, but it's fascinating to look at the dust if you give the pot a shake - it is so fine that a small shake puffs the powder up and then it gradually deflates as the weight of the powder pushes the air out. I know, this sounds a bit odd - but it actually helps demonstrate how clever the powder is. It is so fine that it almost weighs the same as air - a good thing when you are on a mission to create volume..!

So, how does it work? (and more importantly DOES it work?) To use this powder - you simply shake the pot to dispense a tiny tiny amount to the roots. Then, scrunch the roots up with your fingers to get the hair plumped up, this dust creates texture at the root which is vital for all fab big hair creations...see below some pics on how to create the perfect back combing...!!! If ya do it right the first time there's no need to murder your poor hair with a comb in the nightclub toilets :-)

Next up is the Label.m radiance oil, even the name I love...just what I need some radiance, you can use this oil before blow drying to condition hair and speed up drying time or afterwards to reduce frizz and give hair shine..!
Have to say after a week of using it my hair looks (and feels) softer and even has a shine (which is quite impossible when you have highlighted hair)
I use a tiny amount (20cent coin size) before blowdrying and work into the hair mid lengths to ends, for any thick haired ladies this will save you drying time, out of all the hair oils I have tried from loreal to Moroccan this one is top of my list, it smells fab and doesn't leave any residue in my hair.

How To get loose curls/waves

I have had lots of mails asking me how I do my hair..With a couple of years hairdressing experience with Toni&Guy under My belt I will most definitely be passing on any hair knowledge I have over time through the blog :-) Now I apologise in advance for the not so amazing pics, I done this first thing in the morning with a mirror and a camera phone (that's dedication!)

Sorry about the wait Girls...
Here's my QUICK rough step by step guide on how to create a waved look...
Don't worry big haired lovers I have a fab blog coming up on back-combing too :-)

Firstly
You will need
1) A medium sized styling wand
2) hairspray
3) Hair grip

Step
1) Make sure hair is bone dry, section hair (I usually just section off into halves on either side)

2) take a section of hair, about an inch wide and wrap around wand, hold for 25-20seconds

3) repeat on each section making sure the top of wand is ALWAYS pointing in a downward direction when swapping sides (most people make the mistake of pointing wand up!)

4) Tip head over, giving the hair a good shake with your hands, add a little hairspray (would recommend label.M hairspray great hold) and voile hello beach babe waves :-)

Hope this quick guide helped, practice makes perfect...!!

Step aside dickhead..I'm every Woman it's all in meeeee

Are We crazy to have such high expectations in Our love lives...??

Thank You Disney..!

Who is this Prince Charming anyway..like a fairy tale un realistic and non existent

Before I go on, this isn't a man-hating rant more of an empowering Women speech :-)

But I will start off saying...
It's a man's world out there, they're the ones who stroll around carefree, the ones who seem to be in control of relationships, and as some may know, Meet a bad one and he can get inside your head and break your confidence with a matter of words...now of course I'm not tarring everyone with the same brush, like all things, there are exceptions to the rule.

But why do they do this you ask..? You let it happen, yes you..!!

A wise woman once told me, 'People treat you the way you let them treat you, and if they bother you its because your giving them the permission to do so' and do you know what it's sooooo true..!

A man treats you bad, your letting him...He uses you, yup you guessed it your letting him..!!

You are in control of most things in your life, don't settle for anything but the best, have standards and live up to them, have respect for yourself and excuse the language, take no shit..!!

Remember there may not be such thing as Prince Charming (imagine he would be so boring anyway) but I'm damn sure there's a man out there somewhere for you that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated...and it will happen when it's meant to happen, but until then look out for yourself and your happiness , Us Women are amazing so don't settle for any less Ladies :-)

P.s For any men having a sneaky read of this, if you have a good girl treat her like one, because it's only a matter of time before someone steps in and does

Thanks everyone for the read, if you look at my posts they are a bit all over the place, punctuation is never perfect and I rant, but Hey I'm real..!
(Can't help but listen to Whitney Houston's I'm Every Woman after writing this)

A self confessed tanorexics dream

A self confessed tan junkie (it improves my mental well being honestly!) Im all about trying out new tans,

3 things that are really important to me with false tan products..

1) Colour...I like to be more bronzed goddess style not an orange Orang-utan

2) Smell... Lets be honest nobody likes to smell like a curry shop

3) Wear off...clumpy tan/scaly skin is soooo unattractive..!

So I tried out decadence tan and definite gold stars all round from me..

1) Fab sun kissed holiday glow, a lot of my clients complimented my tan and were asking what I was using (always a good sign!)

2) My tan loathing boyfriend told me I no longer smelled of Indian Cuisine :-)

3) I exfoliated prior to application, spritzed a small amount to start off (can always do second application the next day) and my top tip moisturise moisturise moisturise, wore off really well and quite naturally just faded

So think I find a new love and would recommend it to anyone, It's the first organic tan I've ever loved..!!
