What's so wrong with not fitting in..?

Writing this I'm on a flight en route to Vegas and I'm about to embark on a little adventure filled with pretentious people, places and clubs, And I've a sudden thought (So I had to write a blog post!)

What is so wrong with being You...??

With Society being obsessed with constantly out doing one another and a set of un-written 'rules' We MUST live Our lives by, Constant pressure to be bigger and better than the last,
Is this any good for Our happiness...?

If We are any slimmer/better looking/more successful than the person next to Us does that make us 'winners'

Em Noooo..!

So what if your not married by 30,
Aren't a domestic goddess that morphs herself into a mysterious looking porn star by night,
And doesn't have a tiny waist with giant boobs...

I guarantee You that, even if you have those goals ticked off your list there would still be something else you weren't happy about....

Why..? Society never stops, If your in that frame of mind, Trying to keep up with the person next to you, constantly comparing and trying to out do everyone you'll never be happy with yourself or anything you do...

Of course it's normal to want to be the best and reach all your goals, but make sure your making goals that are important to YOU and what YOU believe in and do it all at your own pace

We all have problems, We all make mistakes and We all have Our insecurities and that little voice in the back of Our heads saying 'Is this enough?' 'Am I in the right place, doing the right thing'

Life isn't some sort of race to rushed, It's an upside down, inside out, loop the loop roller coaster ride....With its ups and its downs so make sure your taking it all in and enjoying the ride.

You are exactly what you are suppose to be so that face and allllll of that body is perfect for you nobody else, be happy in your life if you need to make some changes go ahead but seriously stop comparing (I know it's easier said than done!) but nobody lives a perfect life (Don't be minding facebook profiles haha) but the difference is some make do with what they have and go with it, while others watch others and constantly strive to be better than every Tom, Dick and Harry....

So make the choice...Be the one in the corner that gives the perception of a perfect life or the crazy person dancing enjoying life making the most of it :-)

If We put less pressure on Ourselves to 'fit in' and abide by society's silly rules one magic thing that We all want might just happen....Happiness...!!

Here is a detailed step by step of what Avril used:

Sinead wanted a medium smokey eye and left me to choose colours that would suit her.

I started by blending Shadow #337 into the socket and blending upwards but not quite reaching the socket.
I defined Sinead's brows using Shadow #327 and a 17TL brush.
I then took this same shade and used my 6SS brush and worked this into the crease and outer corner making sure I didn't go above the previous lighter brown already in her socket.
I used shade #353 to highlight Sinead's brow bone.
I took Shadow #405 (a peachy gold) and packed this onto the lid.
We wanted an intense eye so I used Pigment pot #189 and layered this on top of the Shadow #405.
Using my 17TL brush again and Gel Liner #77 I lined her top lash line and gave her a small flick at the outer corner.
I worked a tiny amount of black Shadow #63 into the very outer corner and under the eye also.
Lashes applied were 17N.
Once I cleaned up any fall out I then applied AMC Concealer #67 around the eye followed by YSM Foundation #49 using a 4SS brush.
I set the face with Pressed Power #13 and applied #77 Bronzer to the cheeks.
I used a small amount of Sparkle Dust as a Highlighter on the tops of the cheek bones.
Finally I added Lip Paint #52 and that completed her look!

(All shadows from the Freedom System, all products used are INGLOT)
