Why Women shouldn't wear tracksuits
Ooooh so now the title made you click on the link, I'll get started...
Why Women shouldn't wear tracksuits...(outside of training of course)
This is not to be misunderstood, I'm not getting at having lazy days, that's allowed have a lazy day, throw a tracksuit on, I'm talking about wearing tracksuits and 'comfy' clothes all the time
Does it make you feel good about yourself...? More than likely, No
It's a possible sign of giving up on yourself, of not valuing yourself, Like the line I always hear Women use 'Why would I bother, sure where would I be going and who would be looking at me' business,
It's not on Ladies if You look good, You feel GREAT and why wouldn't you want to feel good about yourself.! Stop de-valuing yourself
Okay so maybe you've put on a bit of weight and are feeling a bit down in the dumps.... Or maybe you're going through one of them 'in-between' stuck in a rut sorta stages of life.
GO SHOPPING, anything from a new shade of nail polish to a whole new outfit, Buy it, make an effort..! Not for anybody else but yourself...!! Take off the tracksuit and get your sexy on...It may not solve the problems of the World but it will most definitely make you feel a little bit better,

My Flawless Skin Foundation Favourites
What do majority of us want from Our foundations...?
Well that's simple flawless amazing skin of course, Duh!
How do you get that you ask...?
Well, first things first, You need to get a decent skincare regime going on little Lady (with some good products at that)
Do not expect to pay €40 on a foundation and €4 on make-up wipes and expect flawless skin,
It may work for the under 20's but won't last long,
Remember the bottle of foundation you have for about two months, Skin on the other hand, Well you're stuck with that for the rest of your life..!!
Ok, enough of my skincare lectures
First thing You should ask yourself when choosing your foundation is...Coverage, Which basically means how much the product will conceal (blemishes etc.) on your face
Now I find that a big thing with Irish Ladies in particular.....All for the full coverage, Why girls..?
Especially for during the day, I do not recommend full coverage foundation as it can look very 'cakey'
It's best kept for a your night time make-up,
Instead you can use a combination of a light-medium coverage foundation, along with concealer (for problem areas) and simply build foundation to desired look is achieved..!
Secondly is shade... I'm not even getting into this about the wearing 5 shades darker than your skin foundation, Match your skin tone (or go a little darker within reason) As you do not want to look like this....

Not a good look is it...!
So here are my top recommended foundations
Best Tinted Moisturizer
Dermalogica 'Sheer Tint' Moisturizer
€43 RRP
It's the lightest coverage you can get,
Gives the skin a nice flush of colour, It has your SPF 20 (very important) Gives your skin a healthy glow, Perfect for everyday use (A favorite for Summer)
Best Under €10
Rimmel 'Perfect Match'
€9.95
Light to medium coverage, An easy to work with product (easy to build coverage) Favorite thing about this foundation is it gives you a nice glow, Very affordable and well worth a try..!
My Favourite
Dior 'Forever'
€46.50
Medium coverage foundation, I have been using this as my staple foundation for at least the last four years on and off, It gives the skin a lovely dewy glow and I love the natural look you get as you can still SEE your skin when you're wearing this foundation, Gives a better version of yourself kinda look (exactly what make-up should do) Top marks from me..!
Best New Kid On The Block
Buff HD
€34 (available buffmakeup.com)
Okay well maybe new-ish kid on the block, medium coverage foundation, Very easy to use and easily spread product, Love the silky dewy glow it gives my skin, You get so much use out of each pump and I found no need for touch ups throughout the day.
Best long lasting full coverage foundation
Estee Lauder 'Double Wear'
€36.50
Want something that doesn't budge and gives full coverage (this baby can conceal majority of sins) I prefer this foundation for night time only use but can be used during the day, Creates a flawless without being 'caked' kind of look, Does exactly what it says on the tin
My Wishlist
Tom Ford 'Traceless' foundation
€72
Right I know most of you will be like €72 for a foundation...?!?! I'm sorry, I'm what one calls a beauty junkie (serious issues) Now before I had a lovely encounter with this product I was saying to myself 'Pfffft, Debs seriously €72 just because Mr. Tom Ford put his name on a bottle'
BUT I tried it on in Brown Thomas, Fell in love and can't get my mind off it ever since...!! It's one that I would be keeping for night time only and SPECIAL occasions (due to the price tag)

Valentines day and the single woman....
I really enjoy writing random topic posts, because in between all that fashion and beauty there's a little thing called life...
Okay,
You beauties ready....?
Raise your hands here who's single...
*Que all the sexy single ladies
Now, Raise your hands who's in a relationship...
*Que all the gorgeous girlfriends
What's the difference between both..? Absolutely nothing,
(Well maybe the girlfriends have a massive headache from dealing with their partner a.k.a grown children)
So, Tell me this, Why are most of the single ladies getting down because Valentines Day is upon us...
You won't get flowers..?
Go buy yourself a present to celebrate how amazing you are (and if you haven't realized that yet, start now)
Sexy underwear..?
Stick them on, It'll make you feel good
If you are happy with yourself, You have it all little lady,
A mistake some of us make is thinking We need to have a partner to 'complete' us and an 'in a relationship' status makes life better (are you crazy?!? )
As much as it's lovely to have someone to share things with, being independent and loving yourself first is way more important, so before you start getting down eating boxes of chocolates whilst watching 'Bridget Jones' with one eye and reading 'Men are from Venus, Women are from Mars' with the other,
Take a little look at yourself and remember how much of a great gorgeous person you are, all by yourself..!
Anything else after that....Well that's just a bonus isn't it.. !

Hitting one and what's to come...
The reason why I start writing heart-felt blogs at 1am is unknown, but at least you guys know they are sincere words..!
As I said before I'm going to be doing personal blogs from time to time to keep readers up to date on what I'm up to reader-blogger relationship building and all that jazz..!
So January started off great when I visited New York City...!! Every girls dream, I've been to the city twice before absolutely love it, One of the most magical places on Earth to me (the atmosphere is like something out of the movies!)
Trust me to visit when there's a polar vortex going down haha even with the weather hitting the low minus temperatures still managed to have a great time...
Thanks to any readers that gave recommendations on what to do and where to go..! Being footsteps away from Jay-Z in his 40/40 club for the closing party of his Magna Carta tour had to be the highlight...star-struck..!
For anyone thinking of going to NY...Do it..! Try get a basketball game in too while your visiting, the buzz is great,
For me the shopping isn't amazing (Us Europeans are spoilt for choice) but for sightseeing, nightlife and Our favorite Michael Kors bags, it is a must...
Of course the rest of January wasn't that great (you know yourself a few days spent crying in the shower haha) but hey we're onto a new month and Febuary already has put a big Spring in my step....
Firstly The blog not only having it's 1st birthday, but reaching 20,000 fans on Love By Debs Facebook page, Just Wow..! Getting all emotional here's the first 'fashion' post I popped up on my Facebook page...
And listen, I just want to thank everyone for all the support, messages, interactions..just everything, and even those of you who may just read things posted and not interact or click on to have a little nosey..thank you..seriously
And to any new followers that haven't read any of my other posts, I started this blog a year ago and wanted to just do something a bit positive for us Ladies (and some Gents too!) to enjoy, to feel good and of course to share Our passion for beauty and fashion (cute that kinda rhymes)
Over the last year I've spent any spare second I have working at this blog
(Image of my bed below!!) and really happy the way things are going,
Starting out I was so afraid of putting myself out there and being judged, and yes I've heard a few things through the grapevine that I didn't even know about myself (amazing what rumours tell you) over the last year but all the good things over power that silliness (and I've grown a thick skin!)
Think Majority not menority
(What I'm getting at there is just a bit of advice to anyone thinking about doing something new and taking on a new challenge, do it..! Don't be minding others opinions, they don't matter)
Have I rambled on enough now...?!?!
Anyway back onto what's coming up soon..
YOUTUBE, Yes I'm currently getting ideas together and setting up a YouTube channel for tutorials, I'm taking my time as one my nerves are all over the place and two I want it to be perfect, Also I'm starting a make-up course to brush up on my skills ( and to give you the best tips!)
WEBSITE
Soooooo excited about this it's been under construction for a bit now, Nearly ready, Can't wait to have it up and running, a playground for beauty and fashion..!
Asos insider,
A dream come true for me to be working with Asos (I've been using any bit of plastic I could get my hands on to shop on ASOS for the past few years)

Some wrong trends from the 90s
Oh the embarrassment of fashion 'phases' We go through, Here's some trends We should celebrate for not making it past the 90s....
The 'Rachel' haircut,
Yes it looked amazing on her, Yes everyone went straight to their hairdresser with cut out pictures but my god, Managing short layers was a disaster la Rachel turned to la mullet in 0.5 seconds after leaving the salon...
Dark lip pencil, Pale lip combination
One word, WRONG!
Over the top shadow
Covering your lids upto your brows in metallic, glitter shadows, just no..!
Butterfly clips and braids
Pamela Anderson
Drawn on skinny brows, the makeup, the lips, the over sized fake boobs, the hair... Need I say anymore.....
Fast forward to 2014 what a classy transformation....
Wet n Wild review
I was very excited when I heard the news that Wet n Wild cosmetics were hitting Irish shores,
With so much buzz about the brand online, New makeup, what's not to love..!!
I picked up some of their products in Dunnes Stores, But checkout www.wnwbeauty.com for a list of stockists, Their range is cheap n' cheerful well worth every penny, Here's some of my favorites from the range

'Walking on eggshells' shadow trio,
Easy to use shadow, good pigment and love these 3 shades combined for a nice subtle day time look
'Mega Eyes' eyeliner marker
A long lasting liner, my favorite thing about this product is it doesn't effect false lashes (great news for all you addicts!!)
'Mega slicks' balm stain
This is by far my favorite so far, a lip balm that has great pigment (check out the colour below) and really moisturises lips I'm wearing shade E127

January beauty pick me ups
This month I'm all about pick me ups, You know them little magical potions and lotions that make you look and FEEL better,
Beauty is only skin deep
Let's start with the basics it's January, And your skin is as dull as the skies outside..So here's some little wonders to get you glowing..!
Face
Dermalogica
Multi-Vitamin power recovery masque
€43.85
Dermalogica never cease to impress me, this is one of my favourite skincare products,
an instant hydrating, vitamin boosting masque that injects some colour back into your dull skin, You definitely get your money's worth from this masque, Magic in a tube..
Body
The Body Shop
Body Butter
€18.35
My all time favourite body moisturiser, I have been using this for years it makes your skin feel like silk, and makes you smell good enough to eat (don't try that at home) also a great product to use a day before tan application and during to keep your colour even
I love coconut scent for Winter and mango for Summer...addicted
Hair
Most good health stores
Coconut oil
€14
I get so many e-mails constantly about a good hair mask for dry hair, If you're like me and over process your hair with colour/styling you need to give your mane a little helping hand, coconut oil is a great hair mask, use it on dry hair, I like to leave it on over night but you can just pop on for 20 mins and rinse off, use it once a week and watch the condition of your hair improve
