HD Brows not crazy Scouse brows

Working as a HD Brow stylist the last two years, You can imagine how passionate I am about brows..!

Unless you've been living under a rock the past while, I'm sure you've at least heard about the HD Brow treatment,

Working in the business I've heard many myths about them, number one is the confusion between HD Brows and the nicknamed 'Scouse Brow' 

Which are two totally different things..!

HD Brows (in my own words) is a brow reshaping treatment, It's a high precision procedure using a combination of tinting, waxing, threading,tweezing and trimming, The treatment transforms your brows into a perfect shape suited to your facial features.

For best results, let your brows grow for about four weeks prior to your first treatment with no tweezing and be patient, Reshaping may take a few treatments as everyone's hair grows at a different pace.

Now that pretty much sums up HD Brows, The Scouse Brow is filling your eyebrows in with pencil/powder to a ridiculous size and usually black in colour as seen below....We all have seen a few tragic cases..! Basically it's using too much makeup..!

So whether its a subtle brow shading in or a Cara Delevingne look your going for 

Here are my top tips for filling in your brows....

1) Always use the correct shade when pencilling/powdering in brows, Too dark can look very harsh on your face.

2) Never square brows at the front it's very un-natural looking

3) When filling in do very light brush strokes rather than hard pencilling (see below)

You can see the difference in a natural brow (left below) or a strong brow (right below)

HD brow palettes are €30 and available in three shades

1) Blonde Bombshell (fair)

2) Foxy (Medium)

3) Vamp (Dark)

Each palette contains four shades three to create daytime/nighttime looks and a pale shade used as a highlighter for the brow bone..!

Does this mean I've to be completely selfish...?

Why does it seem the people who care the most are usually the ones left behind..?

Society is trying to turn me into a bitch...

You put yourself out there you get rejected, Put to the bottom of the pile and hurt

People only want to squeeze you like a lemon, Drain.every.last.drop

All that's a bit dark maybe...?

Some truth in it though, Can you really count on people to be there for you..?

Well firstly,  If You start to question yourself/ your happiness, your life and everyone in it, Basically You are on a one way track to depression..!!

The older I get the smaller My circles become, Why..? 

Your life's basically like a garden, 

You are the lovely green grass, And in that grass grows beautiful blossoming flowers that will make your garden look pretty, But on the other hand you have weeds that will poison your garden until removed..

Moral of my little story is keep the flowers that add a splash of colour to your garden, If you put all your energy into that you will soon see your life flourish the way it should...!

All this 'VIP' wannabe, life is faaaaboulous darrrrling crap perceives an image of happiness right..?

Wrong...People crave to belong, and if that means standing in the VIP area of a club or in the latest 'To be seen at' spot spending money you don't have and wearing a smile as false as the girls implants next to you so be it...

What I'm getting at here is Value the people who are there not just when the party's in full swing, But the ones who are with you for your darkest days (We all have them!) and you soon learn they are few and far between so do keep them close..!

It's your life, your choices and We all make bad ones but it's not how you fall down it's how you get back up

Acceptance being a primary word here..

Accept what happens to you

Accept who you are

And Accept life not only changes, But it goes on

A divorce, a loss, a break up, a failure..One of them 'life turned upside down moments' (Am I the only one who start humming The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air theme song?)

Instead of saying 'Why me?????' 

Go do something with yourself make a change, Accomplish something (big or small) Make your mark on this World We live in but more importantly look after YOU

Your the only one living your life, You control what happens (To a certain extent anyway) 

You can let people hurt you or you can let yourself be happy

YOU CONTROL YOUR HAPPINESS, NOBODY ELSE

It's a state of mind and your the only one that can make it happen..!

Attention Black liner addicts

A bit of an inglot addict (I work close to the Jervis st store) I can't praise the brand enough for their products, Quality, good packaging and more importantly reasonable pricing in comparison to other brands..! 

Being an eye liner obsessed Woman like myself, I was very happy to come across an easy to apply, long lasting gel liner..!

I'm one of those people who looks sick and 'different' without it.

With its shade being the blackest of black that would make a goth envious, May I add it's waterproof so you can also use for the water line..! 

A thick and smooth gel, it glides along the lid (It's very important your using the correct applicatior brush) 

I was quite impressed doing a ten hour shift in work without needing to re apply..!
