Change of hairstyle, Change of life..?

A hairstyle is a statement in a Woman's life,

Have you ever noticed when things change in life, break ups, new career moves, starting a family (the list goes on) it's always a change you crave, and hair seems to be the one to say 'Hello World I'm ready, give me what you got!'

I've definitely had one too many hair disasters from Star Trek 'Spock' fringes to orange hair, it's all a part of finding yourself too I suppose..! Anyway back to were I was going with this....

So, You want a change but don't know what to do, Here's some hair inspiration ideas to kick start a new look.....

Lè 'Fringe'

A fringe, such a little change but what a transformation it can make, if you're a little unsure about taking the plunge have a sneaky preview, try out a clip-in fringe first.

You brave bitch!!! Nothing has new me written all over it like getting a bob or drastic cut (very balsy may I add) looking for something a little less drastic..? Talk to your stylist about some layers, (When done by the right person) they can really add some va-va voooom to that wig of yours

Long locks

On the flip side, Extensions are one of my favorite secret weapons us ladies have, I avoided getting extensions for as long as possible, I caved and I fell in love, trust me whether it's clip ins for a night out or something a little bit more permanent, do try, you won't regret..! If it adds volume it's a necessity right...???

Colour me pretty

From a few caramel highlights (jazz up your dark mane) to powder pink toners, When it comes to colour the worlds your oyster, just be realistic about it of course you can't go from jet black to platinum blonde over night!! And ladies I repeat as always, leave it to the hairdresser box at home dyes can be absolute disasters..!

And when looking for a little pick me up a good blowdry can not only put a spring in your step (literally!) but change your humour, I've often been transformed from a hormonal hagrid to happy heather in about 30 mins....!! Salons nowadays have really good mid-week offers too so have a look around, You do deserve it, after all...!!

Spring/Summer 2014 some wardrobe must-haves..!!

Yes it's that time of year again, I think I get a bit over excited when a new collection hits the shops..!! It's the sort of buzz I live for, knowing that rails of clothes are waiting for me to touch and feel, the new colours, fabrics, everything I just love it.!!! 

Spring into style

Well it's all about pastels, I do love them powder pinks...!!!

Prints too, which are great as an add on for jazzing up a plain jane pair of jeans you have lying in the wardrobe...!

Most of all what I love about spring is the colours, after wearing black (nearly) all winter it's refreshing to just add a little bit of colour to your life..!

I want a boyfriend.....

So it's the New Year and you have made the decision to meet a new man in 2014...!!!

Where is he hiding, You ask.....??

Darling, But of course you are not going to meet a new man when you keep the same routine, going to the same places with the same people all the time....

The dating game is a tough one to get into in 2014 as it seems we are all 'too busy' to meet someone,

So let's have a little brainstorm on a few things to do to put your man-plan into action :-)

Firstly confidence is key, If you don't have much go buy some (only joking!!)
Focus on your positives like maybe you have amazing eyes or a quirky personality, or maybe you have both and just haven't realized it yet..!! Basically we all don't have to be classic 'pin up' beauties, We all have a little somethin' somethin' going on and gurrrrrrl you gotta work it :-)
So, after you think of your one (or more) positives to focus on about yourself, hold that tight as this is what I like to call your dating 'weapon', It's something unique that you have to offer..!

Remember not to compare your 'weapon' to anybody else's as comparing yourself to others is a one way ticket on the low-self esteem train and be honest, The 'I'm sooooo ugly, and her (insert here) is better than mine' song isn't going to make you the happiest of dates, now is it..!!!

Right You sexy minx, You have your weapon so now let's make a plan.....

• Go somewhere new- A club, pub or even the place you grab your lunch everyday, Change it up a bit if you are getting no joy on the dating front with the routine you have now, Mix it up a bit, see some new faces and flash them a smile..!!

• Online dating- With so many apps like tinder or different dating websites around there is no excuse not to be out on the dating scene, Use it as a practice tool to get back into the game and build up some confidence, You never know what might happen..!

• Make yourself available- Now not too available (desperate), there is a happy medium..!! Instead of shooting every guy down or just saying no to every date your lovely friend tries to set you up with, Saying ' I wouldn't usually go for his type' isn't working for you now so maybe the occasional yes is a good thing for the New Year.

And remember, Just go for it....!!!!!
