I want a boyfriend.....

So it's the New Year and you have made the decision to meet a new man in 2014...!!!

Where is he hiding, You ask.....??

Darling, But of course you are not going to meet a new man when you keep the same routine, going to the same places with the same people all the time....

The dating game is a tough one to get into in 2014 as it seems we are all 'too busy' to meet someone,

So let's have a little brainstorm on a few things to do to put your man-plan into action :-)

Firstly confidence is key, If you don't have much go buy some (only joking!!)
Focus on your positives like maybe you have amazing eyes or a quirky personality, or maybe you have both and just haven't realized it yet..!! Basically we all don't have to be classic 'pin up' beauties, We all have a little somethin' somethin' going on and gurrrrrrl you gotta work it :-)
So, after you think of your one (or more) positives to focus on about yourself, hold that tight as this is what I like to call your dating 'weapon', It's something unique that you have to offer..!

Remember not to compare your 'weapon' to anybody else's as comparing yourself to others is a one way ticket on the low-self esteem train and be honest, The 'I'm sooooo ugly, and her (insert here) is better than mine' song isn't going to make you the happiest of dates, now is it..!!!

Right You sexy minx, You have your weapon so now let's make a plan.....

• Go somewhere new- A club, pub or even the place you grab your lunch everyday, Change it up a bit if you are getting no joy on the dating front with the routine you have now, Mix it up a bit, see some new faces and flash them a smile..!!

• Online dating- With so many apps like tinder or different dating websites around there is no excuse not to be out on the dating scene, Use it as a practice tool to get back into the game and build up some confidence, You never know what might happen..!

• Make yourself available- Now not too available (desperate), there is a happy medium..!! Instead of shooting every guy down or just saying no to every date your lovely friend tries to set you up with, Saying ' I wouldn't usually go for his type' isn't working for you now so maybe the occasional yes is a good thing for the New Year.

And remember, Just go for it....!!!!!
