Happily ever after....?
Love Songs...... What is it about them..? A few deep words that hit the heart, A collection of musical instruments that let the mind wander into a whirlwind of either....
1) The one you have loved
2) The one you have lost
or even the one you're yet to find
Us Women are absolute suckers for a good love song (Insert your own personal favorite here)
Why...?
We secretly all want the 'one', Deep down We are hopeless romantics, As much as it kills me to admit with My own Boyfriends nickname for me being 'ice queen', The story of The Prince and Princesses 'happily ever after' is one that We kiiiiinda all secretly long for, But then again that's a fairy tale isn't it and We all know fairy tales don't work in real life...
Put your hands up who's been hurt in a relationship...? Exactly, The lot of us whether it's through a partners vice, lack of interest in You or the general faults that some carry, just something that fizzles out or maybe You have done something to a partner You regret, The direction I'm going here is that we have all experienced some form or hurt of the heart right...?
Does that mean are dreams are crushed of the happily ever after...?
No Princess, Keep that crown firmly on your head there..!! We all want the 'prince' in our life but let's be honest have you seen the Men out there...?
Maybe there isn't such thing as a happily ever after, that movie whisk you off your feet kinda love,
But there is all them little things in a Woman's life, An exchange of smiles with that gorgeous stranger in the shops, A text that has you grinning like your high , making up after an argument, the date that goes really well, a thoughtful gesture or maybe just a simple hug or kiss, that little tingling feeling you get, or the fun in kissing the frogs whilst getting back into the dating game, I could go on but I'd only lose my ice queen rep..!
Girls what I'm saying is maybe there isn't a happily ever after for us out there but what about the happy in the now..! The same way no person is perfect, either is any relationship but who says it has to be perfect, Perfect is boring anyway, Just make sure the half frog- half prince partner you have or the one around the corner treats You right...You are a princess after all..!

A little bit about me.....
Just over nine Months into blogging (And loving it!) I'm so happy how Love By Debs is coming along, Peoples support is overwhelming at times and I thank everyone for getting involved and interacting (even the silent supporters!) , It's great getting so many emails asking advice for different things and from people all over the World at that, and thousands of views daily, Which is crazy to me..!!! I'm learning everyday, It's really cool that as a blogger I'm growing and My audience is growing with me, One thing that is really important with blogging is the relationship you have with your readers, Basically so they can learn a bit about You, What You do and why your doing it, Now apologies for the delay in this post (nine months, but hey, better late than never..!) I've been holding back a bit to be honest because I look at other people and bloggers and they sound a bit self obsessed and that is something I never want to be seen as because main reason, If you knew me i'm so far off it...! But I've finally come to terms with the fact that bloggers have to write about their life and whats happening don't they..? So from now on along with the usual posts of fashion/Beauty and my little rambles from time to time I'll be giving little updates of what's going on :-) like a little diary and I don't like over doing it with too many pictures of myself either (I'm not a camera lover) so if you do want to see more pictures follow me on instagram @lovebydebsblog
So anyway back to where it all began.........
Do you remember as a child, the atmosphere in the house when your mother/auntie/sister was getting ready for a night out, The excitement in the air, Music on, A bed full of clothes an awful smell of perfume and enough make up scattered around the room to glam up a drag show, Well this is when My love/slight obsession for fashion and beauty began.....
Many Saturday nights I'd spend watching my Sister get ready, Telling her what looks good and helping out with the perfect arrangement of her outfits or making it my business to take a trip out to my eldest sisters house messing up her make up bag, They would both tell you from a very young age I loved 'borrowing' there stuff (Love You both!) and even back then my favorite event was a trip to the shops because of course being the youngest of five I always got a new item to my wardrobe, the latest barbie or if I was really good and didn't show my Mam a sneaky bit of make up..!!
I soon realized at the awkward age of 14 in order to feed my addiction I needed money, And to get money, I needed a job, One thing You should know... I'm a total chancer, So bearing that in mind I took myself into one of my favorite Highstreet stores, told a little white lie (You legally have to be 16 to work) and boom Debs got herself a job, I was delighted with my life, Freedom...! I even was such a little demon child (If your reading this Mam, I'm sorry!) that I'd skip off school early or not go into class at all to do a few extra hours work, More hours equals more pay which meant more clothes...
From there I've worked in a few highstreet stores doing a bit of merchandising, Which I loved, Gone onto Qualify in hairdressing, I have a qualification in psychology and addiction (which was very interesting) and currently I'm a part skin specialist, part brow technician (sounds fancy doesn't it haha) I'm specializing in HD Brows and skincare almost two years now and then nine months ago I became a blogger too :-) which really is a combination of everything I've done in my life so far, and I really do love it, And at the moment Yes it's very time consuming and No I don't get anything 'out of it' as people keep asking me..It's my baby, I'm just doing something I love and it's worth every stressful minute when I get a thank you for helping out with something or a message from someone saying one of my posts gave them of a lift or encouraged them to do something..!!
From my first ever post 'popping my cherry' http://lovebydebs.blogspot.ie/2013/02/popping-my-cherry.html
I said that I wanted the blog to be enjoyed and to create something positive (The world of Women can be quite a bitchy one) I still get that feeling 'ooooh should I be doing this..' But I always remember my friend Casey saying to me before I started, just to do my thing and focus on the positive majority of people not the negative minority and thats what I'm doing..!!
So what now..? Well I'm always coming up with new ideas and things to do with the blog, All I'm saying is I'll be working my ass off to make it bigger and better and I hope you enjoy what the future has in store :-) it's great to be able to do this,
Remember as Women We are all in the same boat, We all have our insecurities, Men annoying us and just daily hormones haha so it's nice to have something that We can all share Our love for fashion beauty and all things fabulous on and that's what Love By Debs is about :-)
All My Love And Positive vibes,

As You can see they don't look much alone but are fab with a pair of heels...

Men....Are like handbags
Men...
Immature tiny little leaches that suck the life out of women
Now now that may be a tad bit harsh (I'm laughing as I'm typing here) But seriously, I'm not one for tarring people with the same brush but like what was God thinking whilst making Men...??? (figure of speech before anybody jumps on the religious belief bandwagon)
Doesn't matter if you're single, in a relationship married or divorced they are all the same, Now obviously I don't mean literally, what I'm trying to say is they all have that little 'ugggghhhhhhhh' streak in them from Brothers to lovers each have their own little trait that you would love to swing for..!
One of the many things hetrosexual females have in common is that love/hate feeling for Men, But Ladies listen there is nothing We can do but just accept that they are all in fact................. dickheads in their own little way
My lovely Mammy taught Myself and My two sisters that even with a man in your life, You're still on your own, And for years I thought this was just one of her crazy man hating one-liners (she's known for them) but really what she was trying to get across to us is that You can't really depend on a man, can you...?
Simple things like Men and their football (or other vices) their need for attention and inability to complete day to day tasks HOPELESS..!! I'm not having a total go, All that aside they do add that sprinkle of happiness and occasional butterfly feeling to our stomachs, A grin on Our faces and suppose Men can be quite good for a cuddle on them shitty days....
Put it this way the Woman is like an outfit, Keeps the body warm, looking good and holds everything in place.
While a Man is more like a handbag.....An accessory, Some go in and out of fashion, Some will last through a few seasons, some won't match your outfit and then there is that one classic, timeless piece that goes with everything in your wardrobe,
Like a timeless piece (lets say a vintage Chanel) It will be a little bit worn and torn but You'll still love it none the less, It won't be perfect but yet it will still be the one bag in your little collection You always choose
So that Man in your life or the one on the way, is in fact an accessory to you, Hold your own and remember You'll never meet a perfect one (so stop looking) but You will meet one that has a dickhead streak you can put up with and if you can't, Remember like a handbag there's another one waiting to be picked up by you, Just don't spend all your money on one that won't match your outfit, Hold out until You find that classic piece..
That's enough of my strange metaphorical comparisons for the night haha,

MAC Lustre Drops- Secret weapon for a fresh faced look
So You're after putting on your make up this morning and still look like you need another 8 hours sleep
Here's a sneaky little way to cheat your way to that dewy glow....
MAC's Lustre drops are used as a liquid highlighter for the skin,
The two shades- golden pink (pink rebel) or a peachy bronze (sun rush) are great for giving the skin a fresh faced luminous look
Can be used either before or after foundation (after gives more of a shimmery look)
Personally I love adding two drops to my foundation before applying as it makes my skin have a bronzed glow,
€23 available in MAC stores

One product every Blonde MUST know about..!!
I have been getting lots of mails lately about blonde hair, Most of My Blonde haired beauties are having the same problem with their colour, Its dull with yellowish-brassy tones.
If this sounds like You there is a magic potion I must share with you, It will banish all yellow tones to give a nice clean, natural ash blonde
Silver (Purple) Shampoo
