Let's talk ACNE

Having Acne can be an absolute pain, It's irritating, drops your confidence levels and no matter how much you try cover it up, It never seems to disappear,

It effects nearly 80% of Teens and 20% of adults both Male and Female, With an alarming 40%+ doing nothing about it..!


I love these Urban myths:

•  Acne is caused from eating greasy foods or too much chocolate (FALSE!)
• Scrubbing your face will clear up acne (FALSE!)

or My Favourite.....

• Sexual activity causes acne (Ermmm FALSE!)

Acne is caused (without getting all scientific) when follicles, or pores get clogged up, Oil that usually escapes through the skins surface gets trapped between dead skin cells, Bacteria then grows and You see a lovely second face growing..!! Don't fret even some celebs suffer with acne

So what do You do...?? How do You get rid of this un-invited acne..??

Squeeze the face off yourself...?? No, No and definitely NO!!! You will scar your skin.!!


There are tons of over the counter lotions and potions, Do they work..?

Not in my experience..

What about the contraceptive pill or retain A creams..? Em well, Not really, it's about the difference in having a face full of spots to half a face full


What next...?

Most of My clients with acne surprisingly don't do anything about it, Using cheap brands that irritate break outs more than anything else,
The advise I give is either go 100% natural with products (i.e health shops) or Spend (Invest) the money on your skin (Do your research), What good is using a €40 bottle of foundation on your skin when the problem lies underneath..!!
